Holly’s extensive journalism background serves her well in the civic search world. She has a genuine interest in people and loves hearing their stories. Holly finds absolute joy in matching candidates with clients, and watching them lead organizations to new levels of success. For her a search is never “over” as she delights in maintaining relationships with the leaders she has placed, and the search committees she has worked beside.

Holly has led searches for numerous nonprofits and foundations in the nine years she has worked with Ballinger Leafblad, including Blandin Foundation, West Central Initiative, White Bear Center for the Arts, Plains Art Museum, Minnesota Diversified Industries and Generations Health Care Initiatives. She is also the firm’s reference specialist.

She has served as a board member for the Humane Society and the American Birkebeiner Ski Foundation, and she volunteers for numerous ski and bike race events. Near and dear to her heart is fostering for Retrieve a Golden of the Midwest, and advocating for all animals.

Holly lives on a nature conservancy in northern Wisconsin with her husband and their three dogs. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, cross country skiing and gardening. One of her greatest joys in life is working beside her compassionate and dedicated colleagues at Ballinger Leafblad.
